Spinal decompression therapy for the relief of back, neck, arm, or leg pain associated with herniated or bulging discs is an FDA- cleared, non-surgical treatment that has a high success rate, even after failed surgery.

During the spinal decompression procedure, distraction and relaxation phases for an isolated disc are cycled through.  This places the disc under negative pressure, causing a vacuum effect within it.

Because of the negative pressure created around the spinal disc, material that has protruded or herniated can be pulled back within the normal boundaries of the disc, thereby hastening healing.
